"SUPER BÉRÉZINA is proud to present "Apt. 237” the first show of the collective, opening on Thursday February 2 from 6:00 to 10:00pm, on view until February 9 at 35-37 rue des Francs Bourgeois, Paris 4.
The exhibition which takes place in a fictional flat develops interrogations through an array of themes : intimacy, obsession, violence & horror, beliefs, contemporary myths & fictions. The body as the seat of the self is explored in all its forms.
Works of art are objects that serve to represent the self. As artifacts of preference both personal and intimate, once acquired and displayed within the domestic space they serve to stage oneself through one’s taste. A space in which one lives is the same. It is a refuge, a place to withdraw within oneself."
